Bay Bridge To Close Labor Day Weekend

For those of you living in the San Francisco Bay Area or will be visiting the San Francisco Bay Area during the Labor Day Weekend, keep in mind that the Bay Bridge -- the bridge that links San Francisco to Oakland and the East Bay -- will close on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. and will reopen again on Monday, September 5, 2007 at 5:00 a.m. This work is necessary for needed repairs on the bridge and this was the best time to do it, in the opinion of state officials.
Public transportation is highly recommended during this time period. For more information, you can seek out information here.
