Day 2 of Deliberations
Well it is now day 2 of the Mehserle trial jury deliberations. We can call this the day of no deliberations.
Apparently one of the jurors called in sick this morning so deliberations were suspended for the day and are expected to resume tomorrow.
Day 3 will bring another surprise -- one of the jurors is leaving for a planned vacation (apparently the judge and attorneys knew this but seated the juror anyway), so there will be an alternate on the jury. And that means that deliberations have to start all over again!
