Ladies and Gentlemen, The President-Elect of the United States
Well folks it is finally over. At 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time Tuesday night, Barack Obama was projected by CNN to be the 44th President of the United States.

President-Elect Obama's win bring to an end the longest presidential campaign in United States history. This is a very historic victory for Obama -- he is the first African American to be elected President of the United States. Obama will be sworn into office on January 20, 2009.
Arizona senator John McCain called Obama just after the West Coast polling stations closed to congratulate the new president-elect. Along with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, he gave a gratious concession speech. Senator McCain promised to work with the new president-elect for change in the county.
The Shadow wishes to congratulate the President-Elect and Vice President-Elect on their decisive victory tonight. At the time of the CNN projection, Obama won the presidency with 297 electorial votes -- more than enough to win the presidency.
The Shadow will issue a video on this over the weekend. But we would urge all Americans regardless of race, party, or creed to stand behind our new president-elect as he goes through a difficult transition for the next couple of months.
More of this as events warrant.
Good night and good luck.
